Deletes prohibition on Medicaid participation for a psychiatric residential treatment facility in DeSoto County established by a hospital under certificate of need authority.

Removes previous restrictions limiting the facility to 15 Medicaid-certified beds and allows full participation in the Medicaid program without bed capacity limitations.

Facility must prioritize Mississippi residents currently receiving treatment in out-of-state facilities for admission to the 40-bed psychiatric residential treatment facility.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
