Amends Section 45-35-7 of Mississippi Code to authorize permanently disabled persons who are permanent residents of nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or hospice care facilities to receive a permanent state identification card without paying a fee.

Permanently disabled residents issued cards under this provision are exempt from renewal requirements, with the facility address listed as their residence on the card.

Exemption ends if the person moves out of the nursing home or assisted living facility, after which standard fees and renewal requirements apply.

Requires proof of permanent disability and residency to qualify for the fee waiver and renewal exemption.

Effective July 1, 2025.
