MS HB700

Increases the maximum fine for unlawfully parking in handicap-designated areas from $200 to $300 per violation.

Maintains the minimum fine of $100 for unlawful handicap parking violations.

Adds driver's license suspension for 90 days by the Commissioner of Public Safety for third and subsequent offenses, in addition to any fine imposed.

Prohibits courts from suspending or reducing any fine required under this section.

Effective date: July 1, 2025.
