Creates the Mississippi Menhaden Processing Plant Odor Elimination Task Force to review and recommend solutions for eliminating odor and toxic air pollution from menhaden processing plants on the Mississippi Gulf Coast

Task force composition includes the Executive Directors of Marine Resources and Environmental Quality, two House members representing Gulf Coast districts, and two Senate members representing Gulf Coast districts

Task force duties include identifying air quality impacts, evaluating existing odor reduction measures, determining necessary operational changes, and recommending state law modifications to prevent odor and toxic pollution

Task force must meet monthly, provide monthly reports to the Legislature, and submit a final report with findings and recommendations by December 1, 2025, when it will be dissolved

Members receive no compensation but may be reimbursed for mileage and expenses; Department of Marine Resources provides staff support and other state agencies must provide requested facilities and information
