• Provides annual supplemental compensation of $600 per year to certified law enforcement officers employed full-time by the state or political subdivisions who have completed at least one year of service.

• Creates a "Supplemental Salary Pay for Law Enforcement Fund" in the State Treasury to be funded by legislative appropriation and used exclusively for these supplemental payments.

• Establishes a nine-member Board of Review composed of representatives from law enforcement associations, the Department of Finance and Administration, Department of Public Safety, and other stakeholders to determine eligibility disputes and approve back pay claims (capped at $10,000 per recipient).

• Specifies that supplemental pay continues during line-of-duty disability, counts toward retirement benefits and pension calculations, and prohibits employers from reducing base salaries to offset the state supplement.

• Takes effect July 1, 2025.
