Amends Section 43-13-117 of the Mississippi Code to allow licensed registered nurses who are guardians of their own children to receive Medicaid reimbursement for medically necessary services provided to those children under the home- and community-based services waiver for developmentally disabled people.

Requires that the nurse guardian must have received certification from the State Department of Mental Health demonstrating qualification by education, training, and experience to provide the specific types of services to the child.

Applies specifically to the Medicaid waiver for home- and community-based services for developmentally disabled people funded through the State Department of Mental Health.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
