Transfers administration of the Mississippi Community Heritage Preservation Grant Fund from the Department of Finance and Administration to the Department of Archives and History, effective July 1, 2025.

Maintains the existing $61.05 million allocation for grants to county governments, municipalities, school districts, universities, and nonprofits for preserving historic courthouses, school buildings, and other historic properties.

Preserves specific allocations totaling approximately $5.825 million for individual projects including $1.425 million to Columbus, $1 million to Wesson, $500,000 to Kosciusko, $425,000 to Oxford-Lafayette County Heritage Foundation, and $250,000 each to Amory, Shubuta, Okolona, and Wayne County.

Requires the Board of Trustees of the Department of Archives and History to receive and evaluate proposals, approve consultants and professionals, and review all plans and specifications for funded projects.

Directs the Department of Finance and Administration to transfer any remaining monies in the fund to the Department of Archives and History to effectuate the administrative transition.
