• Extends the repeal date of Section 83-9-351 requiring health insurance and employee benefit plans in Mississippi to provide telemedicine coverage from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2028

• Health insurance and employee benefit plans must cover telemedicine services to the same extent as in-person healthcare services, including equal reimbursement for out-of-network providers

• Plans may charge deductibles, copayments, or coinsurance for telemedicine services only if they do not exceed amounts charged for equivalent in-person consultations

• Originating sites are eligible to receive facility fees for telemedicine services, but distant sites and patient-to-provider consultations are not eligible for facility fees

• Takes effect July 1, 2025
