Revises the definition of "modular home" under Mississippi's Uniform Standards Code for Factory-Built Homes Law by requiring certification that structures are constructed in accordance with the most current version of the residential building code adopted by the Mississippi Building Codes Council, rather than just "a nationally recognized building code."

Requires modular homes designed for permanent installation to be installed on an approved foundation constructed in compliance with the manufacturer's installation guidelines instead of "a nationally recognized building code."

Adds exemption stating that structures used for hunting and fishing camps are exempt from building code requirements pursuant to Section 17-2-9.

Simplifies the definition by removing numbered subsections (iii) and (iv) and consolidating language to clarify that modular homes must be transportable in one or more sections and designed for use as a dwelling when connected to required utilities.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
