Mississippi Legislature applies to Congress under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a convention of states limited to proposing a constitutional amendment establishing term limits for U.S. House and Senate members

Secretary of State directed to transmit copies of the application to the President, Congressional leadership, all federal representatives from Mississippi, and presiding officers of state legislatures requesting their cooperation

Application covers only the subject of congressional term limits and shall be aggregated with similar applications from other states to reach the two-thirds threshold required to compel Congress to call a convention

Application constitutes a continuing request that remains valid until legislatures from at least two-thirds of all states submit applications on the same subject matter
