Commends the life and legacy of Mrs. Patricia Pittman Lee, former First Lady of Mississippi State University, who passed away on August 28, 2024.

Recognizes her 65-year marriage to John Charles Lee beginning August 15, 1959, and her role supporting his academic and administrative career at multiple universities including Mississippi State University and Texas A&M.

Honors her service as First Lady of Mississippi State University starting in 2002, where she advocated for community service and delivered a notable commencement speech following Hurricane Katrina emphasizing mutual obligation and interdependence.

Acknowledges her career accomplishments including roles in university development and as Executive Director of the International Stockman's School at Texas A&M, and her continued philanthropic work in Clarksville, Virginia, and Houston, Texas after retirement.

Extends deepest sympathy to her surviving spouse John Charles Lee, four daughters, one son, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and extended family members.
