Recognizes Ellis's coverage of 33 NCAA Regional appearances, seven SEC Tournament titles, five SEC championships, 11 College World Series trips, and the 2021 national championship

Notes Ellis began his MSU baseball broadcasting career in 1979 after being hired by legendary coach Ron Polk and also called football and men's basketball games from 2011-2017

Highlights Ellis's honors including induction into the Ron Polk Ring of Honor in 2024 and four "Outstanding Broadcaster in Mississippi" awards from the National Sports Media Association (1998, 2002, 2013, 2014)
