Honors Charles F. McClelland, Sr. for his distinguished career and public service contributions to Mississippi.

Recognizes McClelland's educational achievements including graduation from Callaway High School and Alcorn State University (degree in health and physical education) and a master's degree from Jackson State University.

Acknowledges McClelland's athletic accomplishments as a four-time letter winner in basketball and track and field at Alcorn State, resulting in 2004 and 2023 Hall of Fame inductions.

Commends McClelland's leadership roles in numerous organizations including the State Board of Education, Mississippi Home Corporation Board, Hinds County Agriculture Committee, and various advisory boards.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. McClelland and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
