Commends and congratulates the 2024-2025 Choctaw Central High School Lady Warriors Basketball Team for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 4A Basketball Championship on March 1, 2025.

Team defeated Morton High School Lady Panthers 52-31 in the championship game at the Mississippi Coliseum in Jackson, securing the school's ninth championship trophy and first state title since 2022.

Lady Warriors finished the season with a 30-2 record and won 19 consecutive games with an average victory margin of 28.3 points.

Recognizes Head Coach Elyse Willis in her second year as head coach and Assistant Coach Renate Ben for their leadership and mentorship of the team.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Choctaw Central High School, Coach Willis, and the Capitol Press Corps.
