Commends and congratulates the 2024-2025 Grenada High School Chargers Football Team for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 6A State Championship, the program's first state championship title.

Grenada defeated the previously undefeated Hattiesburg Tigers 43-14 on December 7, 2024, at Southern Miss with a 14-1 season record.

Senior running back MaCaleb Taylor earned State Championship MVP honors with 211 rushing yards and four touchdowns in the championship game, finishing the season with over 2,700 rushing yards and 40 touchdowns.

Senior defensive lineman Jarques Perry was named MHSAA Class 6A Defensive Player of the Year with 116 total tackles, 31 tackles for loss, 27 sacks, and eight forced fumbles.

Head Coach Michael Fair and his coaching staff were named the 2024 Class 6A Coaching Staff of the Year, with 21 student-athletes selected to All Region and All State teams.
