Commends the 2024-2025 Germantown High School Boys Basketball Team for winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 7A State Basketball Championship on February 27, 2025.

Team defeated Madison Central High School 69-52, led by Michael Williams with 22 points, Mason Williams with 16 points and six rebounds, and Samuel Funches IV with 16 points and seven rebounds.

Germantown led 20-12 after the first quarter, 29-21 at halftime, and outscored Madison Central 23-14 in the third quarter while shooting 53.1% from the field.

Recognizes Head Coach Chris Love and Assistant Coaches Ivory Bowie and Terik Richardson for their leadership and development of the players' skills and sportsmanship.

Orders copies of the resolution furnished to Head Coach Chris Love and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
