Commends the Coffeeville High School Pirates Boys Basketball Team for winning the 2025 MHSAA Class 1A Boys Basketball State Championship on February 28, 2025, by defeating Baldwyn 63-45.

Recognizes this victory as the Pirates' third state title in school history and first since 1958, ending a 67-year championship drought.

Honors Head Coach Demarius Bush (named Region 3-1A Coach of the Year) and Assistant Coach Stanford Spearman, Sr. for their leadership and coaching excellence.

Acknowledges individual player achievements including Stanford Spearman, Jr. as State Championship Game MVP and Region 3-1A MVP, and other players recognized on all-tournament teams.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Head Coach Demarius Bush, Coffeeville High School, and the Capitol Press Corps.
