Commends the life, legacy, and contributions of Edward Peebles "Ed" Peacock, III, who passed away on January 31, 2025, at age 77.

Recognizes Mr. Peacock's professional achievements including a business administration degree from Ole Miss (1969), a juris doctorate (1972), military service as a captain, and nine years as president of Clarksdale bank office.

Honors his 20 years of public service as Chancery Court Clerk for Coahoma County (1996-2016) and his leadership in the Mississippi Chancery Clerks' Association, serving as president in 2007-2008.

Acknowledges his extensive community involvement including service as past president of the Coahoma County Chamber of Commerce, Clarksdale Rotary Club, co-founder of Leadership Clarksdale, and 17 years on the NW Mississippi Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Mr. Peacock's family and the Capitol Press Corps.
