Commends Mr. Dewayne Magee, a Summit, Mississippi resident and Walmart Distribution employee in Brookhaven, for being named the 2024 Mississippi Truck Driver of the Year.

Recognizes Mr. Magee's 30-year driving career with over 3.5 million accident-free miles demonstrating commitment to both productivity and safety.

Acknowledges his volunteer service including Wreaths Across America, Mississippi Veterans homes, transportation education programs, and Walmart's Disaster Relief Team which supplied over 150,000 meals in 2024.

Highlights his involvement in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Share the Road program, Walmart's heart program for children and adults with severe health challenges, and community betterment efforts.

Directs that copies of the resolution be provided to Mr. Magee and the Capitol Press Corps.
