George County High School Boys Soccer Team won the 2025 Mississippi High School Activities Association Class 6A Boys Soccer State Championship on February 17, 2025, defeating Center Hill High School 1-0 in double overtime in Jackson.

Sam Rogers scored the game-winning goal with an assist from Jordan Duran during the Golden Goal overtime round, marking the program's first-ever state championship in their first title game appearance.

The team finished the season with an 18-4 record and won 16 consecutive games heading into the championship.

Individual honors included Gavin Knowles receiving the BSN Scholar Athlete Award, Beau Tanner earning the Game Ball, and Sam Rogers named State Most Valuable Player.

The House of Representatives commends and congratulates Head Coach Tyler Williams, the team members, and Assistant Coach Robert Dean for their excellence on the field and in the classroom.
