Commends the 2024-2025 Parklane Academy Lady Pioneers Basketball Team for winning the MAIS (Midsouth Association of Independent Schools) Overall Basketball Championship on February 26, 2025, defeating Madison-Ridgeland Academy 45-42 at Mississippi College in Clinton.

Recognizes the team's achievement as Parklane's first Overall championship since 1993, despite trailing throughout the game until junior Zoe Alford scored a three-pointer with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.

Acknowledges the team's 28-5 record and additional accomplishments including a 5A South-State title and second place finish in the Class 5A Tournament during the 2024-2025 season.

Commends Head Coach Vicki Rutland, Assistant Coach Tammy Gillihan, and Volunteer Coaches Joe Campbell and Carol Reeves for their leadership and instruction.

Directs copies of the resolution be furnished to Parklane Academy, Coach Vicki Rutland, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
