Honors the life and legacy of Representative Charles Lemuel Young, Jr., who represented House District 82 in Lauderdale County for 12 consecutive years and passed away on December 18, 2024.

Recognizes Representative Young's business accomplishments, including founding multiple companies (The Young Group, New South Technologies, and Tomorrow's Technologies Today) and his work in real estate, automotive electronics, and cellular technology.

Acknowledges his 12 years of legislative service beginning in January 2012, including appointments to committees on Appropriations, Public Health and Human Services, Universities and Colleges, Ethics, and Medicaid.

Commends his community involvement through service on boards including Boys and Girls Club, Easter Seals, and United Way, as well as his active membership in civic and professional organizations.

Expresses the House's deepest sympathy to his surviving family members: son William, siblings Deidre Milton, Arthur S. Young, and Judge Veldore Young Graham, and other relatives and friends.
