Congratulates the Honorable Isla Tullos upon her retirement after 28 years of service as Mayor of Raymond, Mississippi, having first been elected in 1997.

Recognizes her prioritization of critical infrastructure improvements including water well drilling, water line extensions, and sewer system upgrades during her early tenure.

Commends her leadership in historic preservation efforts, including establishing Friends of Raymond, Inc. in 1998, implementing comprehensive zoning regulations in 2002, and creating the Historic Preservation Commission and Heritage Overlay District in 2003.

Acknowledges Raymond's receipt of multiple honors during her tenure, including 2004 Preserve America Community designation with commendation from First Lady Laura Bush, 2009 Governor's Community Projects of Excellence Award, and 2016 NADO Innovation Award.

Extends best wishes for Mayor Tullos's future endeavors and directs distribution of the resolution to Mayor Tullos and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
