Honors Command Sergeant Major Plez William Summers III, who died in service on June 14, 2024, as Command Sergeant Major of Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center.

Designates the East Gate entrance to Camp Shelby as "CSM Plez William Summers III East Gate" (coordinates 31°11'46"N 89°10'58"W) in his memory.

Recognizes CSM Summers' 36-year military career beginning with Mississippi Army National Guard enlistment in 1988, including service in Bosnia and Operation Iraqi Freedom, and numerous military decorations including two Bronze Star Medals.

Notes the Mississippi Guard will host a ceremony honoring CSM Summers during the one-year anniversary of his death on June 14, 2025.

Survived by his wife Amy (married 21 years) and three children: son Jorden and daughters Josephine and Annabelle, all of Brookhaven, Mississippi.
