Honors Chief Warrant Officer 4 Derek Joshua Abbott and Chief Warrant Officer 4 Bryan Andrew Zemek, who died in an Apache helicopter crash near Booneville, Mississippi on February 23, 2024.

Dedicates the Alpha Helipad in memory of Chief Warrant Officer 4 Derek J. Abbott (42-year-old Maintenance Test Pilot with 21 years of service and 3,092 military flight hours) and the Zulu Helipad in memory of Chief Warrant Officer 4 Bryan A. Zemek (36-year-old Standardization Instructor Pilot with nearly two decades of service and 3,264 military flight hours).

Both officers were assigned to units in Tupelo, Mississippi and were Master Army Aviators and combat veterans with extensive expertise in aircraft operations and maintenance.

Mississippi National Guard will host a ceremony later in 2025 to mark the one-year anniversary of their deaths and dedicate the helipads on Camp Shelby's Parade Field.

Directs copies of the resolution be provided to the families of both officers, Camp Shelby leadership, and the Capitol Press Corps.
