Recognizes and commends the Leake County High School Marching Band for becoming the first Mississippi band ever to perform in the 105th Dunkin Thanksgiving Day Parade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 28, 2024.

Honors band director Mr. Tanarri Moore and assistant director Mr. Alex Davis for growing the program from 8 students in 2018 to 56 members and establishing a standard of excellence.

Notes the band will make history again as the first Mississippi band invited to compete in the West Virginia Strawberry Festival in May 2025, with potential qualification for international competitions in Ireland and Mexico if scoring 80 points.

Acknowledges the Soul of the Grove Band Boosters and community donations for funding all expenses related to the band's participation in these events.

Directs copies of the resolution to be furnished to Mr. Moore, Mr. Davis, and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
