Madison Central High School "Jaguars" Boys Soccer Team won the 2024-2025 MHSAA Class 7A Boys Soccer State Championship by defeating Northwest Rankin High School in an eighth-round penalty kick shootout.

The championship marks the Jaguars' sixth state title in program history and their first since 2021, with a regular season record of 17-3-1 including a 7-1 region record.

Junior Tanner Nichols led the team with 13 goals, while senior Braden Buchanan contributed 12 goals and 9 assists; junior Carson Pentecost scored the championship-clinching penalty kick goal.

Head Coach Cecil Hinds has now secured ten state titles across both boys' and girls' soccer programs at Madison Central, with assistance from Assistant Coaches Brad Campbell and Seth Male.

House of Representatives commends and congratulates the team and coaching staff for bringing pride and honor to Madison Central High School and the State of Mississippi.
