Commends and congratulates Sarita "Bugg" Cooper-White, a native of Indianola, Mississippi, upon her induction into the Delta State University Class of 2025 Sports Hall of Fame.

Recognizes her exceptional high school career at Gentry High School, where she led the Lady Rams to an undefeated 40-0 season and Class 4A State Championship in 2006-2007, earning Mississippi "Miss Basketball" and Class 4A Player of the Year honors.

Highlights her collegiate achievements at Delta State University (2007-2011), including two-time All-American selection, 1,027 career points, 963 assists (third all-time in NCAA Division II history), and three consecutive seasons leading NCAA Division II in assists.

Recognizes her coaching success as Head Coach at Gentry High School (2017-2019) where she earned three consecutive district championships and District Coach of the Year awards, and as Head Coach at Washington School in the 2024-2025 season, leading the Lady Generals to a 26-7 record and MAIS 4A State Championship runner-up finish.

Directs that copies of the resolution be furnished to Cooper-White and members of the Capitol Press Corps.
