MS SB2052

Authorizes disabled veterans with 100% permanent service-connected disability to choose between "100% Disabled Veteran" or "Disabled Veteran" labels on their license tags for motor vehicles and motorcycles.

Applies to Mississippi legal residents rated by the Veterans Administration or U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as having 100% permanent service-connected disability or at least 70% nonpermanent service-connected disability.

Permits eligible veterans to purchase up to two motor vehicle license plates or tags and one motorcycle license plate or tag annually for $1.00 total per plate or tag.

Vehicles and motorcycles registered under this section are exempt from all ad valorem and privilege taxes.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
