Changes the primary election date for statewide, state district, legislative, county and county district offices from August to June, specifically the first Tuesday after the first Monday of June.

Maintains the existing two-primary system with the second primary held four weeks after the first, and the same rules for majority vote requirements and runoff elections.

Modifies municipal primary election timing requirements from a range of 10-30 days before general elections to 10-160 days before general elections.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
