Establishes a property interest in interscholastic athletics participation for student athletes in Mississippi public secondary schools who meet MHSAA and school eligibility requirements.

Requires notice, an opportunity to be heard, and a right to appeal before a student athlete can be suspended, expelled, or removed from athletics participation.

Directs MHSAA to promulgate rules and regulations in consultation with the Office of the Secretary of State and Office of the Attorney General to implement the act, including eligibility standards, disciplinary procedures, and appeal processes that allow participation of legal counsel.

Property interest does not guarantee a particular position, role, or level of participation within a team or sport but ensures due process rights under state and federal constitutions.

Effective July 1, 2026, and repeals June 30, 2026.
