Extends school enrollment choice to children whose parent or legal guardian is a member of the National Guard, allowing them to enroll in any school district and campus regardless of residence.

Limits eligible students to one school transfer per academic year.

Eliminates the requirement for parents or legal guardians to reapply for continued admission once a student has transferred and enrolled in a school district, unless the student is expelled.

School districts are not required to provide transportation to students who transfer under this provision and may deny enrollment requests if lacking capacity, with denials recorded in board minutes.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
