Requires high school graduates to correctly answer at least 60 of 100 questions on the civics portion of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services Naturalization Test, beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.

Allows local school boards to determine the method and manner of administering the civics test, and permits students to retake the test until they achieve a passing score.

Exempts students who have passed a similar civics test within the previous three years from the requirement.

Requires applicants for a High School Equivalency Diploma to pass the same civics test (60 of 100 questions) beginning January 1, 2025, with retesting allowed and similar three-year exemptions.

Requires accommodations for students with Individualized Education Programs and takes effect July 1, 2025.
