Requires Mississippi public schools to develop Cardiac Emergency Response Plans (CERPs) addressing sudden cardiac arrest incidents on school grounds and athletic venues, with plans integrated into local EMS protocols and following American Heart Association guidelines.

Mandates placement of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) within three minutes of each school athletic venue, accessible during school hours and student athletic events, with appropriate signage and unlocked locations.

Allocates $2,499,000.00 from the State Department of Education to fund CERP implementation, including AED purchase and maintenance, with priority given to high-needs schools (those with 50% or more students eligible for free or reduced-price meals or Title 1 status).

Authorizes schools to accept gifts, grants, and donations for purchasing FDA-approved AEDs and covering inspection, maintenance, and staff training costs.

Effective date: July 1, 2025.
