Amends Section 99-5-37 to require judges to impose a mandatory holding period of at least 24 hours and not exceeding 48 hours before bail is granted in domestic violence, aggravated stalking, and related offense cases.

Amends Section 99-5-38 to require courts to mandate that defendants charged with domestic violence offenses wear a global positioning monitoring system (GPS) device and refrain from going to or near specified locations frequented by alleged victims.

Requires the GPS monitoring entity to ensure the device cannot be removed by the defendant without court approval and must be installed before the defendant's release from incarceration on bond.

Allows defendants determined to be indigent to perform community service instead of paying for GPS monitoring costs.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
