Peace officers (sheriffs, police chiefs, highway patrol directors, constables) must report thefts, burglaries, robberies, or attempted thefts of agriculture-related vehicles, livestock, timber, grain, and agriculture-related chemicals to the Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau.

Commercial entities in possession of agriculture-related vehicles (agricultural machinery, all-terrain vehicles, off-road vehicles) must report thefts, burglaries, robberies, or attempted thefts of these vehicles to the bureau.

The Director of the Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau must create and publish a standard form for reporting crimes under this act.

The Mississippi Agricultural and Livestock Theft Bureau must maintain a registry of reports of stolen agriculture-related vehicles.

The act takes effect July 1, 2025.
