Amends Section 63-11-30, Mississippi Code of 1972, to allow commercial driver's license (CDL) holders to be eligible for nonadjudication of a first driving under the influence (DUI) offense if they were not operating a commercial vehicle at the time of the offense.

CDL holders who were operating a vehicle that does not require a commercial license can now petition for nonadjudication of a qualifying first DUI offense, bringing them in line with non-CDL holders under existing law.

The amendment applies to nonadjudication proceedings under subsection (14) and expunction proceedings under subsection (13), with the same eligibility requirements as other first-time DUI offenders.

Effective date is July 1, 2025.
