Amends Section 47-5-901 of the Mississippi Code to require all medical care service providers submit claims for inmate services at the applicable Mississippi Medicaid reimbursement rate.

Clarifies that medical providers cannot bill counties or the Department of Corrections for amounts exceeding the Mississippi Medicaid reimbursement rate for services provided to incarcerated persons.

Applies the Medicaid reimbursement rate limitation to all medical care services including durable and nondurable goods, prescription drugs, and medications.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
