Establishes the Artificial Intelligence Regulation (AIR) Task Force consisting of seven voting members including two legislative co-chairs, the Executive Director of the Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services, the Director of the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network, the Executive Director of the Mississippi Office of Homeland Security, the Adjutant General of the Mississippi National Guard, and the Attorney General of Mississippi.

Task force may appoint ex-officio nonvoting advisory members representing workforce development, education (elementary/secondary, four-year, and two-year postsecondary), healthcare, private business, automation and manufacturing, ethics and transparency, agriculture, and entertainment.

Task force shall review and draft proposed revisions to Mississippi Code regarding AI regulation, examine federal and state AI laws and policies, evaluate AI implementation in state government agencies, and consider funding allocation for AI development and use in the state.

Task force review shall focus on privacy and data protection, AI testing frameworks, ethical standards, risk and benefit assessment, liability, consumer impact, bias and social impact, and copyright and provenance issues.

Task force shall submit annual reports to the Legislature by December 1 and shall dissolve on December 31, 2027; meetings and work are exempt from open meetings and public records requirements due to security sensitivity.
