Requires the State of Mississippi and political subdivisions to compensate nonexempt law enforcement officers at their regular hourly rate or provide compensatory time for the first 43 hours worked per week, 86 hours per two-week period, or 171 hours per 28-day period.

Mandates that compensatory time be provided on at least an hour-for-hour basis and cannot be forfeited; officers must be granted earned time off with pay or compensated at their hourly rate upon separation of employment.

Requires compliance with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requirements for all hours worked in excess of the specified thresholds.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
