MS SB2450

Amends Section 19-7-31, Mississippi Code of 1972, to allow funds collected for county law libraries to be used for electronic and technological purposes in chancery and circuit courtrooms when not needed for law library purposes.

Allows use of law library funds for courtroom technology including audio systems, video systems, digital communications, court proceeding recordings, evidence display, assisted listening, and technical infrastructure.

Effective July 1, 2025.
