Creates new Section 13-5-62 of the Mississippi Code authorizing courts to make grand jury proceeding records available for inspection to defendants or their counsel when an indictment is returned.

Permits courts to allow production of copies of the record at the defendant's expense, exercised at the court's discretion upon application.

Requires any copies of the record to be kept confidential.

Defines "record" to include transcripts or electronic recordings of grand jury proceedings.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
