Reenacts the State Grand Jury Act (Sections 13-7-1 through 13-7-47, Mississippi Code of 1972), which was repealed by operation of law on July 1, 2024.

Expands state grand jury jurisdiction to include officer-involved shootings, certain embezzlement and fraud investigations, and public corruption cases (contingent on constitutional amendment approval).

Removes the requirement that crimes must occur within or have significance in more than one circuit court district (contingent on constitutional amendment approval).

Establishes 20-person state grand juries with 15-member quorums that can meet anywhere in the state; requires impaneling judge to convene jury within 30 days of Attorney General's notice.

Modifies procedures including eliminating judge's authority to limit state grand jury investigations, allowing Attorney General to notify rather than petition the judge, and requiring local government officials and law enforcement to provide accommodation for the grand jury.
