Amends Section 43-19-101 of Mississippi Code to require courts to account for health insurance coverage costs when establishing child support awards

If the noncustodial parent obtains health insurance coverage for the child(ren), the cost may be considered as an adjustment to the noncustodial parent's adjusted gross income

Maintains existing requirement that if the custodial parent obtains health insurance, its cost shall be taken into account in establishing the child support award

Effective July 1, 2025
