Requires the Board of Trustees of the Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS) to engage a CEFEX-certified investment firm with a CEFEX-certified analyst during 2025 to conduct a fiduciary assessment of the system's funds and practices.

Mandates the Board submit the assessment firm's report to each member of the Legislature no later than January 30, 2026.

Brings forward Section 25-11-119, Mississippi Code of 1972, which establishes requirements for PERS board operations including actuarial valuations, annual audits, public meetings, and record-keeping.

Takes effect upon passage.
