Requires voter registration applicants to provide at least one form of proof of citizenship, including birth certificate, U.S. passport, naturalization documentation, or documents established under the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.

Requires voter registration applicants to provide a minimum of two forms of proof of address, such as driver's license, state ID, bank statements, utility bills, cell phone bills, employment records, lease agreements, or mortgage documentation, dated within 90 days of application.

Applies proof of address requirements to voter registration transfers when electors move to a new ward, voting precinct, or municipality.

Maintains existing voter eligibility requirements including U.S. citizenship, age 18 or older, 30-day residency in state/county/municipality, and no felony convictions for vote fraud or crimes listed in Section 241 of the Mississippi Constitution.

Effective July 1, 2025.
