Moves the first United States congressional primary election in Mississippi from June to March in years when congressmen are elected.

Repeals Section 23-15-1083, which previously coordinated congressional primaries with presidential primaries when both occurred in the same year.

Changes candidate assessment payment deadlines from January 1 to December 1 of the year before the primary election for congressional races.

Updates qualifying petition filing deadlines for independent and special election candidates to align with the new March congressional primary date.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
