Amends Mississippi Code Section 27-104-7 to exempt contracts entered into by the Mississippi Department of Health for service on specialized equipment and software required for operation of such equipment used by the Public Health Laboratory from Public Procurement Review Board approval.

Adds this exemption as item 10 to the list of personal and professional service contracts that do not require Public Procurement Review Board oversight under Section 27-104-7(2)(f)(i).

Aligns the Public Health Laboratory exemption with an existing exemption for the Department of Public Safety's Office of Forensics Laboratories for similar specialized equipment and software service contracts.

Takes effect July 1, 2025.
