Extends the expenditure period for the COVID-19 Hospital Expanded Capacity Program through December 31, 2024 (previously December 31, 2023)

Program provides reimbursement grants to hospitals for increased treatment capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic, with ICU beds reimbursed at up to $200,000 per bed and negative pressure beds at up to $50,000 per bed

Requires hospital applications to be filed no later than December 31, 2023, and recipients must certify expenses comply with American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) guidelines

Department of Health may retain up to $150,000 in administrative costs and must submit annual reports to the Joint Legislative Budget Committee on applications, awards, and beds reimbursed

Program repeals on July 1, 2026
