Amends Mississippi Code Section 47-5-94 to require the Mississippi State Department of Health to conduct an annual structural and environmental inspection of the infirmary at the State Penitentiary at Parchman beginning July 1, 2025.

Inspection must evaluate structural soundness, repairs and maintenance, fire and safety hazards, food service, water supply, wastewater systems, sewage treatment, solid waste disposal, and pest control.

All state agencies must provide reasonable cooperation with inspections upon request from the Commissioner of Corrections, Bureau of Building, Grounds and Real Property Management, or State Board of Health.

Inspection participants must compile written findings within 30 days and submit the report to the Governor, Commissioner of Corrections, and the Warden or Superintendent of the State Penitentiary at Parchman.

Effective date is July 1, 2025.
